What is the WAVE INDIA?
4 teams with electric vehicles from Switzerland have taken up the challenge. They traveled from Mumbai to Hyderabad, Bangalore, Goa and back to Mumbai in December 2011 with a special mission: let's promote electric mobility running on renewable energy in India! The WAVE is not a race. It's a peaceful expedition. There is no winner of the WAVE. Except our future.
Let's make a difference, together! We visit local projects, schools and places of interest, and we want to show that electric cars, running on renewable energy, are a reliable solution for the challenges that India and the world are facing. Because solutions to be independent from fossil fuels, and to stop global warming, already exist today.

POWERED BY RENEWABLE ENERGIES
All vehicles are producing their own electricity in their home country by solar or hydro power. This will offset the CO2 of their consumed electricity in India. More info about their energy sources will be produced here shortly.
